Maxwell “Mac” Alan Nickerson Jr. 87, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. He was born on January 4,1934, to the late Maxwell Nickerson of Maine, and the late Marion Swederskas of Bangor, Maine. He was the beloved husband of Ivy (Banner) Nickerson to whom he was wed for 35 years, he was also a great father to Menta West, Maryann Jacobs, Tina Nickerson Suxo, and the late Denise Nickerson. He was a wonderful step-father to Normand Desrochers, Jake Desrochers, Leo Desrochers, and Deborah Ryan. He was a caring grandfather and great-grandfather to many and loved them all dearly.
Mac was a US Navy veteran of the Korean war. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting and being around with his loved ones. The service will be private.

Dick and Karen from across the street just told me of Mac’s passing away….I’m so, so sorry sweetie…he had a long hard battle..and now he’s not suffering anymore …but he’s sleeping peacefully until Jesus brings him back to life in paradise.
